Report on impact of data standards in retail published for consultation
GS1 UK and PA Consulting Group have published a joint report exploring the impact of data standards in retail.
The report sets out the history of the application of data standards in retail, while presenting two different scenarios depicting what life would be with and without standards.
GS1 UK and PA Consulting Group have also launched a consultation, encouraging retailers and brands to share their views on the future role of data standards and the effect they will have on their customers and business performance.
Comments received during the consultation period will be fed into the next stage of the report.
